it looks like money, since its out and about unsupervised i'd guess it either ran away from home or it's owner left it in the woods.
money doesn't grow on trees after all. you can take it home with you if you're prepared to take care of it (put it in a nice cozy savings account or a piggybank, etc, etc)
don't forget to give it some playmates though, money likes being in large family groups.
