as a hobby i breed mystery snails. the black snail was only in the tank for 12 hours before he mated with both my ivory mystery snails. caught him in the action for both unfortunatly only was able to get photos of this time

there actually very majestic. they move with such ease and speed it makes you wonder how they do it. picture is my 2nd generation of snails. my 3rd generation is in incubation atm

How easy is it to breed them?

on a scale of 1-10 10 being hardest, id say about 4-6 depending on your knowledge of aquarium life. the trick with snails is to feed them often. i feed mine kale once a week or so. i have 5 egg clutches right now approximately 1 a week. another trick to make them lay eggs is to stress the snails out for example doing a water change. also keeping the water temp around 80. the downside is the life of the snail is shortened the when in warmer water and laying eggs.
6 clutches of eggs. im going to have a fuck ton of snails considering that there is around 100 snails per clutch. the 6th was laid this morning. its the palest.
