Why is my girl lactating? I took her to the vet yesterday to update her shots no sign or pregnancy or nothing of the sort. Shes just been bloated and lactating.

It does not. But I'd rather want to know if this can possibly escalate into something I should worry about. Growing up I had a dog that had bad nipple infections. Wouldn't want to see her go through that.

They can have a varying amout of nipples. Just depends. Some can have 12, some can have 8. The bigger the breeds, the more nips.
