My cat sheds all the time. If you pick him up, you've covered in cat hair instantly.


I want to brush him to help stop the excessive shedding. I have a "slicker" brush, but it seems like using it might hurt him, since the bristles are just like tiny needles.


What brush/type of brush is best for removing his excess hair?
