My mom just went to the vet today and just informed me that my dog needs to be out down because of his age.
I'm so fucking sad about this but I know if he kept in licng he would just be sad since he can barely walk and can't eat anymore.
But my mother is planning on getting a new dog, so do you know any breads that live long, I don't want to start crying in 6 years because I got a pug.

He was given to me when he was 7 years old, he had a lump leg and a bad cough.
After two years living with me and my mom he was able to run around, bark, and breathe perfectly fine.
But this month he has been very sick to the point where he now has to be put down
I just want people to know that I did not neglect my dog when he was given to me.

I don't want a pug because of their bug eyes and the possibility of them sneezing and losing an eye.
So what small dog has the least defects?

If you just want healthy, go get a little small mutt from the Humane Society. Where I live, the shelters are generally mostly pibble mixes and chihuahua mixes. It should be easy to find a chihuahua mixed with a terrier or something. That'll be a healthy dog.
