Does anyone know what kind of plant this is? It started growing in my drive way a few weeks ago. Now it's about 8 feet tall.

my only guess so far is royal empress tree, but leaves don't match exact shape

Looks like a philodendron, or a alocasia? I would check those families of plant, do you store garbage cans on that side, or have bird feeders near that side of the garage?
No trash cans or bird feeders nearby. Breaks pretty easily but no noticeable smell. Here's what if looked like 4 weeks ago.

Looks like a wild tobacco plant.
If it is, careful handling it with you naked hands, some tobacco plants have such extremely high nicotine levels that just handling the leaves can lead to nicotine overdose, which isn't a lot of fun.

OP here. I'm watching the house for my mom who bought it but hasn't moved in yet. I stop by every week to check up on the place for her. I'll be by there again on Tuesday. If there are any new developments, I'll post them in the thread.
