First of all, sorry for the awful picture.

I found this guy in my bathroom. He's a bit more than an inch long, all black, black wings (didn't see if he had one pair or two), antennae kind of curved. I'm in Chicago.

My roommate called me in the bathroom and asked me to dispose of a "big black ant", I highly doubt this guy's an ant but he does look sort of wasp like? So I'm sort of worried he's a carpenter ant swarmer or something. What do you think?
