There's a common trope in games or fantasy stories where creatures or characters associated with moths are poisonous.
What breeds of moth are actually poisonous (through bites, contact, etc)? I'm looking here and there, but I see nothing other than minute details about how certain breeds taste bad to predators as a result of their diet.

Games usually don't portray animals very accurately. I've never seen a frog with whiskers.

They're poisonous to eat. A lot of larva feed on poisonous plants.
Look up moths in Japanese mythology, they like and dislike them and make all the vidya games. Also there is Mothra.
It's not a modern problem but if moths get into to your food it's bad. Their eggs and poop and cocoons are all bad for you.

Processionary pine moth caterpillars have very urticating hair and can kill anything that eats them. Not sure about the adults though.

Southern flannel moth caterpillars and moths are agony to touch. Not sure if it's poison or whatever but it will probably send you to the ER from the pain.
