This little dog loves me so much. I rescued her because her previous owner became too ill to care for her. He went into a nursing home. I was told that she's 1/2 chihuahua and 1/2 dachshund. I just don't see the chihuahua at all. She looks pure weenie-dog. What do you guys think?

I can see the chihuahua. Coat color and the face. Chest also doesn't seem as deep as a normal doxie too.

She does tremble a lot. When it's stormy, she goes nuts. She also makes lots of groaning sounds when you pet her...like she's really enjoying it.
Yeah they are right. That is not full weenie. The give away is the distinct shape of the head, sometimes called a chihuahua "Apple head".
