I have a cat that I adopted a year ago, he's a big older cat, age ? Im not sure, anyway I got another cat which is a kitten, and all my older cat has been doing is hissing at the kitten and at everyone else in the house, he now spends more time outside than inside, only time he comes in is to eat.. will this change ? Is there any way i can get him use to the kitten? (Pic is my older cat)

HISSSSSSS
Cats hate other cats.
Time. You can do some things like feed them on opposite sides of a door so he starts to associate the kitten's scent with food. You can also try artificial pheromone products like Feliway too. But at the end of the day, the only thing that will fix this is time.
It's normal if the cat isn't used to being around other cats. They'll usually get along with time, especially if one is kitten. Introducing two unsocialized adult cats is much harder.

muh territory
When I bought my kitten my cat the kitten was all friendly and the older cat was all confused by it, but friendly and then he would attempt to rape it so I kept them separate for a couple of days until the older one got neutered and everything was fine after that

I have the same problem. 5 year old inside cat, just got a 4 month kitten. Kitty is hyperactive and playfully attacks the older one. First day they couldn't even be in the same room, cat #1 would hiss and growl like crazy. Few days later, I find them sleeping on the same armchair(pic related). Now #1 only hisses if the kitten goes too far and jumps on her. They'll get used to eachother.
