And no: just because I rescued my dog that doesn't mean it's for everyone. I don't yell at people in the street but I'm comfortable with saying I rescued.

It takes 2 to 3 weeks to house train a puppy probally longer if you drink the crate koolaid, if your spending thousands Id expect that the breeder has their puppies in soil or sawdust whelping box... hard flat whelping boxes contribute to joint problems from the outset. If somebody wants a specific type of dog and then they should be free to buy one, I should not be penalised simply because other people are idiots and "no kill shelters" exist. Its not my obligation to take in unwanted dogs.
