Tough?

Australian Red Cattle Dog, they are tough bastards. They can be quite mean too if not socialized.

I'd go with our Kelpies though.

Sure, something larger could beat them in a fight, but seeing them work in heatwave level conditions in country Australia has given me so much respect for them and how hard they work.

They are amazing athletes and can just go and go.

My parents rescued one, to watch him run and work is just beautiful.
