Funny personalities. Or peculiar is maybe the better word. My sister in-law had one and it had an unusual way of playing fetch. It brings ball to you, you throw, it runs to get it, picks it up, runs in another direction, drops it, runs away from it, then runs back, picks it up and drops it somewhere else, runs away, then back, then after maybe five minutes it would bring it to you to be thrown again.
I like having a dog that will bark to high heavens if she senses danger. She doesnt trust anyone but the family and she isn't a high maintainance dog. She eats very little so we can feed her the best dogfood on the market without hurting our wallet too bad.

I experienced this with my Podenco dog.
She was the most expressive dog I've ever came across, also totally spoiled me; I don't want any other kind of dog, only a Podenco again.

I saw one get smacked by a car going like 50 mph the other week. They kept on rolling.
I felt kind of bad when I went over to check on it and pull it's struggling body from the road, then I realized it was a dauschund and my mind was put at ease.
