It must be it, although your picture matches pretty much how the cat is, the regular balineses I find on google, they have a thin tail.

That ain't no Balinese by a long shot. Head shape is all wrong. You've got a really pretty flame point, but it's just a mutt. Pointed coloration is very common, though flame point is more rare. So enjoy your cat, but just know he's not some purebred special breed.
