This lizard thing is dying (I think) in my home. They're usually really active and fast but this one can barely move and looks kinda.. Dried out.

I gave it some water .. What now?

Don't say kill it pls.

Take it outside. Cold in your house.

It's like 38C outside and the room it's in doesn't have air conditioning turned on. I think it's plenty warm enough but then I don't really know.

If you still think it's a good idea I will.

Prolly got lightly squished. Maybe it was hiding under a door or in a cracked of a door and got squished

maybe, it's legs look pretty fucked up but then I really have no idea.

Just don't want it to die if it's avoidable and could make a recovery. I might make it a little house with water and food and put it somewhere warm. Is this a bad idea?

That's some type of gecko and it's starving. See the tail? That's where it stores fat and it should be much thicker. We just had one of these threads on /an/ a while back and it was past the point of returning.

You could take this over there and try, but it's odds are not good friend.

There is a certain point which the body reaches when, even if you give it nutrience, it can no longer repair itself. Try if you want, but don't be surprised if he can't make it.

Oh shit, my bad. Thought I was on /adv/.

Anyway, hope he makes it dude.

Oh thank you for the info, I tried to gently pick it up but it made it under the fridge, I'll keep putting water down for it but otherwise leave it in peace, I don't see any point of scaring it any further if it's in it's last few hours of life.

Good luck to it.

Enjoy the smell of dead lizard sticking to the food in your fridge. Rip lizard bro

The kinks in its tail makes me think metabolic bone disease. Calcium deficiency. Yeah gecko is not long for this world.
