I recently got my first reptile pet. He's a beardy named Dexter (pic related). I feed him regularly and his lighting seems at the right temp. The problem is that he keeps glass dancing (scratching at the glass). I'm pretty sure he wants out, and whenever I hold I hold him at my computer desk, he wants to jump out of my hands onto the floor. I want to let him walk around but I'm afraid I'll lose him because he is still a small baby beardy. Any advice?

Put him down. He has Reptile Dysfunction.
From what I understand that's just normal behavior. Post a pic of your setup
Put a piece of slate out if your floor is carpet, and hang a basking light above it. If he does manage to escape, he'll most likely make his way to that light when he starts gettin cold
sideways again :/ But yea, those are decals i put in there so it didn't look so boring, but that doesn't seem to change much.
