How can I teach my dog to locate weapons and ammunition?
The forest here in Sweden are full out guns, AK-5, submachine gun and much more but I can not find where it is buried.
Can my dog to help me?
Scent train him to gunpowder?
A metal detector will be easier, cheaper, and more effective

a metal detector will set you back a few hundred dollars. you can get a dog for free, but dog food for a year will cost you at least the price of the detector. although i doubt some random dog you get for free will be easy to train to find things by scent.
a dog will take months to train, you can use a metal detector right out of the box.

Apart from gunpower or rust, a dog won't be as much help and it will take months to train. I think they rent dogs tho.
