Any anons with experience in buying fossils, shark teeth and stuff like that online? What are some trustworthy sources?
I'd like to get some stingray barbs. These seem legit and the seller has 99% positive feedback, but I'm not sure. Price seems to be a little too god to be true.

stingray barbs don't cost much, especially when short. those are max 2.56", so the price seems within reason.
Also amusing are swordfish bills, if you're into dead sea animal parts. If you get one make sure to shine a flashlight through it to check out the interior structure, which is neat.

I'm currently in the same boat OP, looking for fossils of some obscure animals along with just general skulls and bones and what not.

I've only ever bought from taylormadefossils its decent I guess. Large selection for fossil casts but they took a little bit to ship. One thing worth noting is most of the items are teaching quality replicas.
Also the boneroom has 8 inch stingray barbs for less than 20$

avoid the Chinese fossils unless you have some knowledge of their fakes. Most of what's listed from china is fake.
look for sellers with money-back guarantees. generally if someone will accept returns they're reliable, and if for some reason they're not you're still covered. If you really get screwed then ebay will pay you back anyways.
I'd rather find fossils myself than buy them.

Bone room is awesome, ive bought numerous skulls from them. I live kinda close and the shop is really awesome. Their site is just the tip of the iceberg. If you ever get a chance go, do it. A lot more deals inside. Maybe if you called them and asked about more specific things you could have them shipped to you.

Sucks I'm on the east coast tho. Also I've been going through their site a bit and it looks like they're closing their store and moving to the bay area so I'm not exactly sure how that will work out for me to get my hands on stuff.
