It's ok OP they'll subsist on chips and crumbs from peanut butter on toast. You should ensure they're eating regularly by leaving a bag of Lay's out once a week.
I let my HH's roam around the house freely. They mostly clean up peanut butter bread crumbs around the house and I'll sometimes share chips with the less shy ones. :) They sleep cuddled up in my socks drawer which I leave open for them
