Hey /an/, I wanted to get your guys thoughts on putting plants in old yankee jars. Any ideas what plants would be small enough for that? I was thinking some smaller cacti since they're easy to care for but would like something prettier if that's an option.
>tldr: what are some small house plants
You mean using the glass as a pot or actually IN it?
Spider plant cuttings possibly . I used to put them in plastic containers and they are fine in a sealed environments.

Using it as a pot. My biggest concern is the size.

You're thinking too large OP, look into growing moss and lichen, maybe even small mushrooms. I think a small mushroom colony in a glass jar would be quite the sight to see.
Plants that stay under 3 inches would be good but the nature of most plants is to escape confinement rather than embrace it.

Your biggest issue will be drainage, or lack of
Small cacti pots sre the same size with drainage

You can use glass drilling bits to make some drainage holes.
