One of my dogs brought a juvenile opossum into the house through the dog door years ago. As far as I could tell she didn't hurt it luckily. I just picked it up and took it outside to the woods. It was cute as fuck. It just played dead till I sat it down and then it waddled off.

Yaaay, Momonga!
The inspiration for Emonga/Emolga in Pokémon B/W! (like the name; a pun on 'Momonga' and 'Emon/衣紋', the Japanese word for 'clothes/drapery'.)

Over here in my region of New England, we have a bunch of cute critters; like New England cottontail rabbits, chipmunks, red/grey/black squirrels, sparrows, black-capped chickadees, white-footed mice, and many more.

I love this strong fuckers. They look really cool. I had three Beetles in the past (can't actually remember the species name because people used to say different thing when asked for id) but I set them free because they would not get used to being in their cage. People said that they only need a bigger cage. I'm not so sure about it though, so I wanted to know how to keep them properly. What are your experiences with Rhino Beetles? What do you do to maintain yours and how they respond?

always found it funny the english calles them Mourning doves. In my language, dutch, they're called 'Tortel Duiven' Tortel doesn't mean much originally, and duif just means dove. But througout the years people started associating tortelduiven with couples and lovers. And it's very common here to call a pair of new or extremely lovey dovey lovers 'tortelduifjes' and the word tortel even became associated with someone who's heavily in love. So it's facinating to see they're associated with mourning just across the sea

In Wales . Blackbirds . I had a pet one once after a cat killed it's mother raised from very small to fledgeling. It used to perch on my head and It would eat from my hand . Unfortunately it died after anothercat killed it .I was devastated . We also get pheasants in our garden which we feed biscuits . The males are very colourful and I saw a baby pheasant once it was very cute . can't understand why people would shoot them over here as a sport . I like shotguns and everything but I couldn't shoot a pheasant unless It was a survival situation . Nice thread .
