So, this poor bastard was in the yard this morning. No wounds of any sort that I can see. Looks healthy, well feed and doesn't look like she's all that old. Any one have any ideas?

Doesn't seem likely, never heard of squirrel getting rabies. Google even supports

Could have been a disorder. Could have been a virus. Could have been anything. I've seen a dog kill without puncturing the body. Could also had been some kid shooting bbs
There's only one explanation... MURDER.

Makes sense to me

That is what you have cocksucker
>dead squirrel
> "looks healthy"
Internal bleeding or a disease..

It look sad. I reckon it died of a broken heart.

I've been watching a lot of House lately. Pretty sure it died of Lupus.
Maybe a heart defect or other internal problem.
A cat might have snapped its neck.
At the least its bones will provide a valuable source of minerals for the next animal that finds it.

It's not Lupus.
>>2049876
I think you might be right! has to be the Lupus! It's the only logical explanation.
>>2049790
unless you wanna cut the thing open and post pics we probably can't diagnose exactly how it died.
check its ass, is it bleeding? might have been rat poison if it is.
>>2049790
poison
It might have fallen from a tree, ours do that a few times a year
Could be anything. There's a video of a grizzly having a heart attack, so for all we know this squirrel had heart disease.

There's only one way to find out.
Eat it. Make sure to have a friend tell us what you died from if you die too.
