How the fuck do these things work?

Everyone keeps telling me they keep dogs entertained for hours, but my pupper played with it for a few minutes and just moved on.

Put peanut butter inside of it

Like fill the entire thing with peanut butter?

Wouldn't she just puke and make a huge mess?

I mean you know your dog best but people generally put some peanut butter or dog treats inside

I usually just put a few dog treats, some dog food, or on the rare occasion some people food inside and cover the top with peanut butter. Freeze it for extended time

Can you diagram how this is supposed to work?

And if the peanut butter was frozen how would the dog get through it?

It takes the dog a longer time to get through to the peanut butter. Keep in mind peanut butter doesn't freeze like water does, but even if it does, it would still melt assuming it was above freezing

I'd just like to take a moment to recognize that OP made an unreasonable request for a diagram and you came through.

because he pulled it from google

They actually make specific treats that are shaped so you can put them in but they don't come out easily. So the dog will spend a lot of time trying to get the treat out. You can use regular dog biscuits as well. I have even seen at the pet store an "easy squeese" type can of peanutbutter or liver flavored stuff specifically for Kong balls. But I wouldnt trust that chemical shit for my dog, myself.
