I've seen cases about people getting dead turtles from TurtleShack and other places. Is this very common?

Should I stand up clean my dusty car and go to the pet store instead?

Shipping turtles is perfectly safe.
Ordering them from shitty places like turtleshack, backwater reptiles, etc is the issue.

Backwater Reptiles is still up? I know for a fact Turtle/Tortoise Shack isn't.

These guys have an even worse reputation. Anyways, what are some actually good places to ship turtles from?

I've heard LLLreptiles has good reputation, at least with in the tarantula/scorpion hobby. Never ordered from them myself though.

The only reason you should not buy local if you are looking for a species they will NEVER have in stock.

Buy a local turtle OP. It'll be cheaper and healthier.
