Op is this your homework assignment? I disagree that a1 and 2 are the same. Why only bark photos? No twig shots or at least canopy views?

B - I've seen these around my house but forgot what they were. silver maple?
C - black cherry
D - beech

In order- some type of oak, some kind of elm, ash, a diseased cherry, maple. You can figure out species, I don't know what grows in your area.

This could be any number of trees, but it is probably beech. Could also be Ironwood, given the splitting of the bark on the older parts.
