So I had two hamsters, sisters. And I got them when they were still babies.
Everything was fine, but sometimes they'd start fighting really aggressively and biting and scratching eachother.
I have no idea why'd they do this sometimes. It'd be weird because it'd mostly happen when I took them out of the cage and put them on my couch to play with them.
Anyway, one day I noticed that one of the hamsters had a pink mass on its stomach. And it would squeek when I touched it. I was afraid it was cancer. I took it to the vet and he confirmed it.
He told me that it'd be too expensive too save her and even if he did, she had a low chance of survival after a week. He said it'd be better if she was put down.
Anyway, the day after I came home with no hamster. And a day later her sister suddenly died out of nowhere.
Did her sister sense her sister died? Why did she suddenly die if she didn't have cancer? Can hamsters die from grief?
