If it lives without milk for much longer, yes. This is true with a lot of animals. They aren't taught "bite gently you cunt" by parents and littermates. I have a rat that was weaned early and he bites the SHIT out of me during playtime constantly.

I hand raise kittens and puppies. You can teach them this good behavior yourself. It is harder to do if they don't have litter mates but don't listen to the bullshit. This isn't a good place to get advice about your puppy.
