I've got a hairless chinese crested dog, he's large for his breed. Any ideas for a costume I can put on him? He's pretty laid back when it comes to stuff like this, he's used to wearing clothes being hairless n all.

Some dogs take to it no problem, others need to go through a desensitization process. Basically you want your pup to associate wearing the clothing with fun and excitement, so praise and reward heavily and use "dress up time" as play time as well. Make having clothes on more fun than uncomfortable, and start in short increments of time.

We dyed her spots multi color one year. I used Kool aid. It looked great until she licked them off. Anybody know of a dye that would be safe to use without her licking them off?

if you want a red/pink colour, use beetroot water or juice. diluted it can stain a light pink, un-diluted it will stain a very dark pink. It lasts quite a while, is harmless to your animal and has no strong chemical odour. Pic related, this cat was washed in beet water.
I would do a patch test first though, because some animals can be allergic.
And also you might get arseholes mad at you for "abusing" your animal by giving it a bath in non-toxic plant-based stain.
