If you aren't ready to do it, you aren't ready to do it. It sounds trivial but as a failed suicide "survivor", you'll know when you're ready to do it.
its not about courage to kill yourself, its a lack of caring about the world or the despise for it. If you have to work up courage to want to kill yourself you are approaching it wrong, usually when people attempt to kill themselves its usually a hatred for the life they are stuck with. if you don't hate your life enough to get past the survival instinct you shouldn't kill yourself.
