I'm starting college soon and I need something that's better than my standard bike which I use for work. An ebike is MUCH cheaper, way more fun, and does the 20 mile round trip fine before needing a charge. Yeah a car has practically infinite range, but seems overkill for my needs save for a few road trips here and there. I'm leaning toward the ebike for long term benefits like saving money and health, but is a car really worth the extra money just for passengers and cargo?

Yup. I would ride in the snow for months. I don't think and ebike is any different
