You're 22... You're supposed to be getting drunk all the time. Start hanging out at a new bar, start a conversation with the bartender, then the regulars... Come back in a few days. Repeat until you are a regular with cool new friends.

I'm somewhat shy to go into a bar and start drinking alone, people always go in big group of friends.
Also I'm very annoying and impertinent when black-out drunk or borderline black-out drunk, I've done or said shit that could get me seriously injured or killed if I was in a dangerous place.
