Yes, they are angry. They're watching you waste your future. Why the fuck would you go through university just to become a teacher? You could probably earn more as a manager at a fucking food chain.
I don't really see what you can do with a degree in dentistry other than being a dentist.
I assume colleges want you to have at least a few years of practice before they'll allow you to teach, so that's not an option.
