I'll be traveling to New York City in december, and I need some advice aout good hotels below $100, must visit places, good food, zones to be avoided, good rock bars. Any information is well recieved, thanks!

Do not stay in a hotel, you won't find a good one cheap at all. Do AirBNB, they're generally a much better deal, more fun, and it's always nice to support people rather than a company anyways.

I stayed at an airbnb ten minutes away from Times Square for $60 a night that slept four people comfortably. Hotels went for about $200 a night for one bed.
