I'm currently doing sample labs for an exam I have tomorrow. The exam will have a very similar layout to what I'm doing now just with different questions and figures, but other than everything will be similar. The exam is on using Matlab to solve equations.
The question in pic related is the one before you start using matlab, so it's something to solve on paper. It's pretty basic, you substitute the value of r into the area equation.
However, no matter what I've put in so far, none of it has worked. I keep returning a wrong answer. I can't move onto the next question because everything depends on your answer to this.
Attempt 1 and 2 are two of the few that I've tried. Neither has worked.

Also, pic related
bump
A = 2000π/h + 2πh(square_root(1000)/h)
you were on the right track in attempt 2 just missed a pie

i think my parens are wrong but you get the picture lol

I tried it out [tried out 2 different versions in case one had a typo]
It came back as wrong :(
