Hello /adv/, quick and simple question:
I've recently got called into an interview for Burger King, to start my first part-time job. I want to dress appropriately, so I have black dress pants, a black blazer, and a nice blouse to wear. Is this overdressing or is it fine? I really don't feel like going out today and buying khakis and a button-up shirt. I don't want to look like an idiot for overdressing.

EXACTLY. THIS IS WHY I DON'T WANT TO OVERDRESS
It doesn't matter what you wear you'll get the job. If you wanna dress up fancy as fuck do it

If you dress up professional like black pants, white longsleeve button up and belt THEN you'll be seen as a serious worker. They'll assume you won't slack off as much, work good and they'll be able to rely on you.
Thats the impression you'll give. It's an interview dress properly regardless of the job if you want it.
