Is it distasteful to have a pin up as my phone's lock screen picture?
I've been arguing with a friend about this for a few minutes and decided to get a public opinion.
I don't think that it's bad since it's on my private device, I'm not prominently displaying it in public, and it's SFW. Granted, there are "better" images to use, but I like the aesthetic of it.

It's a vintage drawing. If it was some HD pornstar I'd find it tacky but this seems completely fine.

I am fairly old fashion in such things, so I would say don't use it. If you have to ask then its going to offed someone.
The pic is fairly tame and has some redeeming vintage artistic properties one could debate, better if you know the history and artist.
But it's your phone you can do what you want, just be aware that people do judge people over such trivial matters which can have larger effects.
there is a wallpaper broad if you are looking, but do go requesting things. That is were I found this which I found to be peaceful, and a major deal considering I had used defaults for decades prior. My old phone screen had a picture of a rotary phone, everyone loved till 2 months later when everyone had something similar .

Let us suppose that instead of putting it on your phone, you printed it out and put it on your bathroom door. Which would be in better taste: to put it on the outside of the door, or the inside of the door?
The answer, of course, is the inside: the bathroom is a private space, but there is a part of it that others still see, and that pic, while perhaps SFW, is nevertheless something that should be private. It is the same for your phone: make it your wallpaper, not your lock screen.
