I want to become a well known artist so I can make a positive impact on the world. It's extremely stressful because it's almost pressuring . I was presented with the idea that none of the difference-making ones have that mindset, though. that goes from the author of "Power of Now" to comedians like Russel Brand to artists like Bob Marley and Kendrick Lamar. What are your thoughts on this??
I think they mean that they know they have the power to change the world and can envision it, but on a daily basis they arne't constantly checking themselves against that goal.
That isn't living in the now, that's living in the future because you picture yourself of where you want to be instead of where you actually are.
If you want to change the world with your art, envision your goal and work daily towards it however do not constantly check yourself against your goal, it just creates anxiety and depression about the future.

Do your art as a hobby, but don't count on it to pay the bills
