I came to /adv/ a month or 2 ago. My best friend no longer wanted to talk to me.

He stopped talking to me for a few days, he talks to me again...

We've been talking, but I... don't feel comfortable talking to him anymore, I feel he secretly resents me or outright hates me.

He still snaps very easily as well, I don't know what to do or feel. People tell me to stop talking to him but it's been over 10 years of friendship, I want to believe in him...

What do you make out of this, /adv/?

We can't tell you what your relationship is with him. Or whether you should cut off contact or not. You'll never be able to give us enough information to determine that over the internet.

What I can tell you is that if a relationship is strained, it won't go back to normal right away. Trust has to be built up all over again.

I guess you're right, Anon, I guess all we can do, both me and him, is to keep things cool and try to rebuilt that trust that we had for many, many years.

It's just, for the last 3 years, he's been very anger prone and explodes. To the point I honestly believe he might need anger managment help.
