Hey /adv
I have a close friend who self harms sometimes and is open about it with me. They live quite far away from me (about 3 hours), so it's not like I can easily go visit them when they are feeling down or whatever. They are already on medication and see a psychologist from time to time.
Is there anything I can do to help or support them? It breaks my heart knowing they get so low as to do that.
just make sure you keep them aware of your friendship and that you care.

I was writing a message to them anyway but I just reassured them how I feel and they seemed to appreciate it, so thanks.
If anyone has anymore pointers that would be great, but I guess there's not much I can do if they are already having help.
