I'm losing my virginity next week to my girlfriend of 5 months, I WAS looking forward to it, but an issue has come up with condoms.
I got a bunch of different ones to 'try' before the act just to ensure it all went smoothly, but they all felt really uncomfortable and killed my boner pretty quickly. They were all a struggle to get on (difficult to fit around the head) and they felt too small, even though my penis is average (7 inches long, average girthwise). This has now caused a lot of worry for me as the condom + inevitable nerves/excitement is bound to kill my boner.
Additionally, when I tried to jerk it with one it was not good, couldn't feel much and the orgasm was terrible, rather painful process - it took a fair while, too.
I'm not a huge porn user, but I do masturbate 3 times a week or so; I don't know if this is related.
Any ideas on how to make condoms more comfortable? I understand they suck, but these seem terrible, really terrible. I can't really afford buying many more brands. Half-tempted to just do oral until I find a suitable brand.

If you have a steady gf and a monogamous relationship, you two could just discuss if she could start the on the pill or some other hormonal contraceptive. They have around 99% reliability and you wouldn't need to use condoms.

I think to an extent that's just the way condoms are, but try getting a larger one like anon said. I use the Trojan Ecstasy ones, which feel… decent.
