Wondering what to do with myself. This is my second failed marriage and I just hate myself. Kids are wrecked and I'm too upset myself to comfort them. I can't even decide if I want to bother trying to reconcile. I'm just defeated and broken. "Stay together for the kids" is what people say, but what if you're just really shitty at maintaining a relationship?

Fights about money (she hasn't held a full time job for three years), poor communication, I'm very emotional and she's very cerebral and logical. Lack of sex life. Little to no interaction because I work 50+hours a week and usually everyone is asleep when I'm home.

The same pattern developed in my last marriage except my first ex-wife was emotionally charged as I am so we had some common ground for understanding. Our emotions made us say stupid things, but we understood that we were just blowing off steam most of the time.
