I need some advice on something that could end up being a cakewalk or fucking hell on earth. So, I'm 20 and I'm going to be starting at my first job soon at a simple white collar job for the government, and they asked me to go through some exams before I start, namely blood and urine tests and a X-ray of my chest. I just came back from the clinic, and it all went smoothly and I should get the results within a week and a half, but my issue here is another thing. I've been smoking tobacco and weed regularly for the past two months now, and my parents don't know anything about that, even though I live with them, and I know they will be looking at the results of the tests and whatnot. Is there a chance that any of the tests could denounce any of my latest indulgences? I doubt the X-ray would show something up in regards to my smoking, as my lungs are probably still pink as fuck, but my urine probably still had THC-COOH or whatever when I collected a sample for the test. The thing is, I don't even know if something like that would show up in the results. The exams are pretty much routine stuff to check my health before I start working, not something they would do to see if I used anything illicit, but I can't help but worry. So, what should I expect? Also, if it comes to it, how should I deal with my parents if they find out about any of it?
