What's it like? I'm thinking of becoming a phone operator from home. How is it? How easy is it to get such a job? Are there better work from home jobs available to a NEET?
The job's probably shit and/or a scam

Depends on what kind of person you are.
It is VERY easy to get distracted or do subpar work. The more freedom you have, the more trouble this can cause.
That said, if you are disciplined and follow a routine, it can be very nice. Especially if you're an introvert.
Don't do it

Most work-at-home jobs are scams. You do all the work and run up all the phone bills, and only get paid a commission on actual sales (if they pay you at all)
Any unskilled work you can do from home, Pajeet can do for less. So there's really no legitimate unskilled at home jobs.
Amazon has a work-at-home service. It doesn't pay much, but it's not a scam:

there are small-job and survey sites like mturk, but the overall pay is very low per hour. Only worth it if you're literally a shut in, or want to make $3 while watching a movie on Netflix. Previous poster is right, you won't get a decent hourly wage from anything unskilled or semi-skilled working from home.
There are some options. How old are you, from what country? What's your education? Any skills or hobbies or qualifications?
Of course, the best advice is to stop with the NEET. Get out there and do something, anything.
