Girl I like takes ages to reply to my texts (talking about weeks here) but finally sends a text sounding genuinely happy with loads of emotes, even winky faces and stuff.
What's going on? Why is she doing this if she's interested? This has been going on for about 3 months now.

She's not interested. She texts you to get attention, and probably lonely or bored at that moment.
