Looking for a third income option, debating between selling HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems door to door and make commission off what I sell (have a friend who's making 2k a week off this) OR coming up with an idea, creating the app and then profiting off users.

Pretty much a question of hard labour vs tech.
Ideas, comments or other suggestions?
