Recently I have been getting told a lot by people that they thought I was gay or a total player in high school. People usually say it's because I "flirt" with everyone, including guys, although I could probably count all the people I ever flirted with on two hands. It seems like everyone that I didn't hang out with outside of school that I've talked to over the past couple months is sure of it.
I've always wondered why many girls were not interested in me, as I would say I am fairly attractive, was pretty social with everyone (although my main friends were pretty unpopular), and I was pretty well known around the school as an okay guy.
How do I stop people from thinking I'm flirting with them? I feel like it must have ruined my chances at many relationship opportunities or friendships throughout highschool and I want to stop it from happening now.
