Pretty sure I was screwed over on a recent college exam I took for a silly excuse of a dumb anthropology class I had to take. I got a 5/100 which is absolutely absurd. I didn't know much, but this grade is absolute horse shit, I'm fairly sure the professor didn't even look at what I wrote down.

I will not let this pass, so I was thinking about emailing her about it.
How would I go about it without fucking my own ass any further? Is emailing her about a grade complaint a bad idea to begin with?

You should ask to see your graded work, and complain if there is anything specific that was graded unfairly. Just crying that your grade is bad without substantiation is fucking retarded.

What was the exam about and what did you write about? I love anthropology.

A fucking 5/100

This. Ask to see the graded exam. Review it and see what was marked as incorrect, then decide if you were marked unfairly.

that would be ideal, I'm just trying to plan in case I can't get to see her (which I'm betting might happen).
I just can't accept the grade as something even probably fair. I studied, not much, but studied about enough to pass by a slim chance. 5/100 means I knew nothing, that what I wrote down had about 0 worth, which is really strange. I don't buy it.

it's probably not the anthropology you like. It's mostly design centered (talked a lot about wendy gunn), and I've never had any other anthropology class before, but those classes sure looked meta and not actual anthropology (or, at least, nothing with meaningful substance).

>muh STEM
>B-but they told me humanities classes were easy
>must be the professor's fault I can't pass fucking undergraduate anthropology
Cry more dickhead. University isn't for everyone, why not try a trade school?

Wish I had gone the trade school route... beats massive debt and working at a starbucks
