Some friends seem to have more interest in seeing prostitutes than finding a girl who is actually interested in them, it's the easy way out.
Personally, it's not worth the cash, since it's very expensive short-lived pleasure with no future benefit. As opposed to LAN gaming, etc, which are similar without the monetary cost.
