I'm currently freelancing as a illustrator(erotic contend) but I'm afraid I may not make enough money to support myself with, before I have to get out of the house.

So I've been looking for possible jobs to fall back on but there doesnt seem to be much.
Most simple jobs wont hire people above 21 and you need a education for the rest.

If anyones got some good idea or suggestions I'd be most grateful.

I am prepared and able to do a short educations for the job. (bartender for example only requires 1 years of evening school)

If it helps, I live in the Netherlands.

Post art. Are you any good?
>>

I'm decent enough to get commissions on a regular basis.

But it's very inconsistent, so I'd like to have a back-up plan in case it doesnt workout.

Thats the link to my gallery, since NSFW isn't allowed on this board I belive.

beautiful art anon. how are you making money right now? who have you sold art to?
>>
>>17258782

Thanks, I simply sell my service as a illustartor right now.
So people approach me with a a character they like and I draw them in the way they want it.

My clients are just regular people who like these kind of things.

I'm afraid I don't understand you

How much do you usually charge for your work and how much would you have to produce in order to live off of it? Also, will you draw that guy from your clip art OP sexually dominating that bill? I bet it would make you feel better about your money woes.
>>
>>17258562
Worse comes to worst you can always start doing furry porn.
>>
>>17258848

I charge about 150 euro on average for a full piece, it quite depends on what people want.

That gets me about 800 a month, I'd need 1600 atleast if I were to live on my own.
Since taxes take about 36% out of that leaving me with about 1200 a month.

Even worse if I want to get a loan for a house I need to be able to show that I make 25.000 a year.

>Also, will you draw that guy from your clip art OP sexually dominating that bill? I bet it would make you feel better about your money woes.

I could but it's not nice to draw other people's OC's without their permission.

>>17258859

That market is quite saturated actually
>>
>>17258859
This.

I used to make pretty good money at this when I was a teen and I was worse at drawing than you.
>>
>>17258882

Cool, can I ask what you're doing now?

I wouldn't mind drawing furry at all desu, I guess I could always combine it.
>>
>>17258929
I don't really draw these days. I was never really all that good at it. Like you said, the market wasn't saturated back then (10-15 years ago).

It can't hurt for you to try, right? I don't know were you would look for commissions, back then I did it through Gaia and DA.

I actually meant what kind of work, since this thread was about looking for a backup job.

>It can't hurt for you to try, right?

Problem is people these day are quite ''hungry'' for content.

I noticed that if you post works consistently like 3 times a week you'll gain exposure(watches, like, ect) very quick.

And I can't mix the furry fandom with my current client/fan base as it would scare them off since many people dislike furry.

Looks like you posted in the wrong thread but try to look for a common ground so that you actually have a reason to talk to her.

Try not to plan too much of the conversation though.

Ah, sorry. I was an accounting clerk, but now I'm a medical transcriber. MT is nice, because you usually work from home.
>>
>>17258982

Thank you, did you study to become a MT?

If anyone else has some suggestions please do share them.

I'm off for now but I'll check back in the morning.
