Hi /adv/,
I'm middle eastern, living in Europe with a fulltime job (senior position in marketing).
I have $20,000 that I can invest in something. Where do you think I should invest? And what return should I expect?

How well do you know economics? there are different risk categories when investing, you better study graphs on different companies and then expect pay out in about 3-6 months or less.
For example: Gold has gone down in price, as well as oil, yet they are still wanted. IT industry keeps making better gear yet they don't have a market willing to buy new things. Pharmaceutical companies are somewhat stable, but they all keep selling pills cheap so the pay out will be margin.
But here is the kicker, companies that focuses on renewable energy sources are on the rise, their success all depends on their marketing team, so choose wisely the company you want to invest in.
